Why I picked AWS over CloudFlare

Introduction
Hello everyone, a couple of days ago, I transferred scanash.com from Cloudflare to Porkbun, this happened during the Cloudflare incident on November 18, 2025.
I know this is unlikely to happen again, this is not the main reason why I moved scanash.com off Cloudflare, (I still have other domains active on Cloudflare) however, I moved scanash.com off Cloudflare for good, and I decided on going to AWS as I have done courses on AWS and I am familiar with the platform.
AWS??? What are you rich??
Not that expensive actually, you get your money's worth, in my case, I am only using a zone in Route 53, CloudFront and WAF, the most expensive thing of these is WAF, which is not that bad either.
Are you using EC2, Amplify or something else for scanash.com?
No, the main scanash.com website and the Dragonfly database are both hosted on my own VPS, the website is behind CloudFront with custom caching policies optimized for scanash.com.
Omg scan this website feels so fast wowsza!!!
That's probably CloudFront, cool right?
Are you going to keep making up questions for this?
uh no.
